Since 2008, the Human Rights Council has adopted a series of resolutions on human rights and climate change. These resolutions have requested for a number of thematic panel discussions on climate change to be held at the Council and have also requested OHCHR to prepare studies, reports and summary reports to the Council. This includes the following:
