In 2015, the Committee received 90 submissions from interested stakeholders on relevant research, findings from consultations with adolescents and examples of laws, policies, programmes or good practice that would contribute to the drafting process. A consultation with 100 adolescents from 36 countries was held in August 2015, and 1,300 adolescents also participated in an online survey. In 2016, the Committee received 60 submissions on the draft general comment.
