Enforced disappearances: UN Committee publishes concluding observations on Iraq and Montenegro

GENEVA (18 September 2015) – The UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances has published its concluding observations on Iraq and Montenegro which it examined during its session from 7 to 18 September.

These findings contain positive aspects of a respective State’s implementation of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, highlight main areas of concern and detail the Committee’s recommendations for action.
