Concluding Expert Meeting – Dakar

Background

This final two-day consultation, held in Dakar on 10 and 11 April 2019, brought together experts and practitioners, representatives of Member States, United Nations agencies, intergovernmental organisations, regional economic commissions, the private sector, civil society, — including non-governmental organisations — community leaders, and independent experts. For a fully participatory and inclusive approach, due consideration was also given to specific groups.

This was the last in the Special Rapporteur’s series of regional consultations to identify and promote good practices in development worldwide.
