Background
In October 2021, the Human Rights Council adopted resolution 48/11 on human rights and indigenous peoples. In the resolution, the Council requested OHCHR to convene a four-day expert workshop, in 2022, on possible ways to enhance the participation of indigenous peoples in the work of the Human Rights Council.
