26 June 2020, International Day in Support of Victims of Torture Combatting torture and ill-treatment in times of COVID-19:Testimonies from the ground

To mark the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, the UN Anti-Torture mechanisms (the UN Committee against Torture, the UN Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture, the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, and the UN Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture) issued a joint statement - English | Français | Español - and participated in a public webinar on "The impact of Covid-19 on torture and ill-treatment" organized by the UN Human Rights Office and Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT).
